Hello,

I have really been enjoying the openplc project however now i would like to use multiple ardunios as slaves.

I understand i need to set them up as Modbus devices and not ardunios however i am wandering if anyone has code for the arduino that allows this.

I am a automation engineer so happy in all of the industrial programming languages however i am poor on the ardunio.

i have had a look at the code and tried just changing the ID in the existing ardunio code however this works only with one ardunio plugged in when i plug the second in i get no connection despite having the slave set to the address i set in the ardunio software.

Any help would be great

You don’t have to change anything on the firmware neither on the configuration of the slave devices. Just plug multiple Arduinos and then when you’re adding each slave device, make sure to select “Arduino” on the type and to select the right port. Each Arduino will show up on its own port.
