Have seen some posts about it, but overall very complex and failed to get it working.
Is there any outlook for the OpenPLC editor coming to the Mac ( or maybe as a web interface?)

I want to eventually port it out to a web interface and have it embedded on OpenPLC runtime, but this are plans for a far future as it will require a major rewrite of the editor. And answering your first question, PLCOpen Editor on Mac is really tricky. It is hard to get all dependencies in place. Maybe it would be easier to just setup a linux VM using VirtualBox and run it from there.

There is wiki article how to run Beremiz/PLCOpenEditor on Mac OS X. Have you tried it?

I tried it, and it is not working. The instructions must be updated as there are other packages that need to be installed as well. I tried it a while back and managed to open it up on macOS, but the interface was very buggy! It was crashing on pretty much anything I tried to do. After reading some stuff online it seems that the problem is with wx-python. It is not well ported to macOS (there are functions missing). I don’t know if it is possible to circumvent it with user code.

Please update instructions, if you can.
Are you sure you've used Classic and not Phoenix? We had at least two guys used Beremiz under Mac OS at some point. They've not complained that much about crashes.

Yes, I was using classic. It won’t run under Phoenix at all. I’ll have to get my Mac VM booting again to try the process once more, then I will share my results with you
