Hi,

I used the OpenPLC for the application in sewage pumping stations at the company Croonwolter&dros. I would like to share my project information. My thesis is attached at this message. 

I worked on an analogue outputcard which generate control signals (0-20 mA; -10 V - 10 V). I rebuild software (from C to C++) to control the whole system which consists also two digital inputcards, one digital outputcard and the CPU-card.

Nice work Ricardo! Although I can’t read Dutch, I was able to grasp the general idea from the pictures and diagrams. It is just very unfortunate that you based your design on OpenPLC v1, which is more than 6 years old! If you had used the current version you would probably have made much more progress within the same time

Thanks Thiagor! Well that is a disappointment. I have much struggles, the newer version would give me definitely more progress.

Where can I find the current design?

I hope the EMC-research and -design will gave a nice input for the project!

Currently OpenPLC is purely software. There is no hardware board for the project. Instead, the focus has been in running free software on commercially available open source boards like Raspberry Pi, Neuron PLC, PiXtend, etc. You can find the current version on the website http://www.openplcproject.com and on my GitHub http://www.github.com/thiagoralves/OpenPLC_v3

It would have been great to use all your design efforts to create an open source board for the OpenPLC v3 software.
