This seems interesting. After they have released all the boards I can try to write an OpenPLC driver for them.

any updates on this Frontier?? Sequent Micro Systems has a good assortment of cheap I/O boards that would be a perfect match for this project. starting at $15.
I know that i am Eagerly awaiting a response to this posting. I work in industrial Automation in Minnesota and this OPENPLC and AdvancedHMI Combo Impresses the heck out of me. I have my setup talking with Allen Bradley PLCs throughout the various Manufacturing facilities i support. The boards seem to communicate over I2C which i have zero experience with. it would be nice to have a driver for it.

I didn't know they had already manufactured the cards. I'll be looking into that in the future. Right now I'm basically just keeping the project going, don't have much free time to code...

I have the building automation card in hand and would like to try it with openplc. any chance we could get a driver for this?

I also have some here.
The MegaIO-Ind is already released too. Many digital and analog (4-20 mA, 0-10V) inputs and outputs.
A driver for the OpenPLC would be awesome!
Tks

If I can get a sample I can write the drivers myself.

Hello Tiago,

Please note that the Industrial board comes in two flavors, IND and BAS (Building Automation)
Let me know where to send the the sample and if you need one of each.
Specs of the boards on our website.

Hi Mihai, thank you for reaching out. I'm spending 2 months out of the country working on some personal stuff. I'll be back in October. I'll reach out to you once I get back and let you know my address. Thanks!

Is there any other soul on this planet who could write an OpenPLC driver for our Industrial and Building Automation boards?

I would be happy to send a pair of boards for free.

Mihai, if you guys want to develop the driver internally, I'm pretty sure it should be quite straightforward. On your website I saw the repository for the Command Line and Python Driver:  https://github.com/SequentMicrosystems/megaio-rpi/blob/master/megaio.c

Using this code and the OpenPLC blank driver (/webserver/core/hardware_layers/blank.cpp) as an example, you should be able to create the OpenPLC driver for your boards very quickly.

I know we could, but there are only 24 hours in a day and we are swamped with various tasks...
We have 3-4 other projects on deck and a few OEM contracts. Just not enough resources.
We'll try, but if we do not get to it maybe you can help when you get back.
