Hi all, I just started working with openPLC and am excited about it. That being said I am wanting to purchase hardware to run the run-time on.

The hardware list is sparse on details, and I am wondering what a suitable raspberry pi model to run it would be? Will it run well on a pi zero W? If not, should I go ahead and pick up a pi 3b+? Thanks in advance for the help.

OpenPLC is very lightweight. It will take some resources only during installation, as the whole software is compiled during installation. After it is installed, running a ladder program takes only 5-10% of CPU on a Pi Zero

Perfect! It looks like I’ll being ordering a few Zero-W to go with the Arduino mega I have.
