OpenPLC follows strictly the IEC 61131-3 standard for programming PLCs. This means that you should write code for the OpenPLC the same way you write code for any other PLC that is compatible with this standard. Look online for books and trainings for the IEC 61131-3 and you will find good information. This is what came up in a quick google search:
