Hello I am new here,

Could I bother you guys for a link to some info on the built in web server? I would like to customize the porting.

Thanks,

Drew

I’m sorry but there isn’t any documentation on the webserver yet. You can check the source code, which is quite legible I think. The files are webserver.py, pages.py, and openplc.py. What are the customizations you want to make? Maybe I can point you to the right places in the code.

Heya, I'm just trying to port it to make it accessible from the outside instead of just localhost

netstat -plnt shows that nothing is listening on port 8080

it is accessible from anywhere that can reach your device.

this probably means that OpenPLC runtime is not running

Please, how can I check if OpenPLC is running or not?
I'm typing localhost:8080 in my browser but it is not able to establish a connection (that is its answer to request)

If you can’t access it from the browser then it is not running

Sorry, in fact I fixed some problems related to the permission issues detected during the openplc runtime installation about some python packages.
